â€Å"He’s just a man named Gatsby† (Fitzgerald 48) the people who attended Gatsby’s parties, really did not know who he truly was. The perception of Gatsby from other characters is different from who Gatsby was in The Great Gatsby by F. Scott Fitzgerald. In order to understand Jay Gatsby, it is important to consider how he thinks about himself and what other people think about him. The truth about Gatsby is the most important point to understand during this book but is hidden be hide his fancy riches. Those are the things that help decide who Gatsby is. The perception of Gatsby by people was very different than who Gatsby really was. The first point is what Gatsby thinks about himself. Everything he did in the book was for Daisy. He also thinks that he can undo then past and everything go back to normal but it can’t. It shows that he truly loves Daisy and will do a lot for her. To himself, He thinks he is doing the right thing but really it is a little creepy. Miss Maudie jumped to conclusions by yelling at Scout when she tried to explain about how Cunningham’s don’t take handouts. Cunningham’s do not feel good about taking them. They think they could never repay anyone back. Finally, we have Scout actually gets mixed up and believed that Boo Radley actually dinned on raw squirrels and cats. When unusual things happen in the town, they all think it was Boo Radley. Scout even believes the rumors of him because she thinks the same as the whole town. The basic proposition of Mercantilism is that the state should aim to maximize it’s wealth through one-way trade with other countries, maximizing exports and keeping imports to a minimum. The developing countries are in debt due to letalknding policies with interest that they can’t pay back, the developed countries export goods into these countries whilst making it very hard for the developing countries to export their own goods in return. In his writings Chuang Tzu, constantly hints at the existence of this mystical energy force, which flows with exact order through the cosmos, a presence if you will that has been since there has been anything, but yet is not old. In the mind of Chuang Tzu, when one discovered this flow, and was able to establish a solid connection, one would be filled with the energy of the cosmos, taking its power with them wherever they went, constantly using it to guide them through the labyrinth that appears to those outside of the way to be the path of life.
